Founded on July 20, 1981 as an umbrella organisation, La Voix de l’Enfant (The Child’s Voice) is dedicated to defending children in distress, whoever and whereever they may be.

La Voix de l’Enfant received France’s Human Rights Award in 1987 and 1992.

The IRCT (The International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims) The IRCT is a health-based umbrella organisation that supports the rehabilitation of torture victims and the prevention of torture worldwide. Founded in 1985, its members comprise more than 140 independent organisations in over 70 countries.www.irct.org
CCVT-EL The CCVT-EL is an umbrella organisation that brings together healing centres for torture victims in Latin Europa. Its mission is identical to that of the IRCT, yet its theoretical approach to treating victims differs from the Western approach.
Dr Duterte, who is a member of the founding team, is also its president.
European Network This informal network brings together 111 healing centres from 34 countries; every year, members gather for a group conference.
